CABINET MAKER/JOINER/KITCHEN INSTALLER – Whangarei (Listed 26 May 2021)

Mastercraft Kitchens Whangarei are a seeking a joiner to come on board as business is booming and we are getting busier as each day goes by! Northland is a wonderful part of the country to live. Give up the commute and join us in the sunny north.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a trade qualified joiner
  • Be able to work well within a team as well as unsupervised
  • Confident in reading plans, problem solving, and the ability to spot errors BEFORE they become an issue!
  • Experience in high end kitchen joinery would be advantageous
  • We value the atmosphere in our workplace and personality fit will be high on the list of considerations
    While this role will be primarily building kitchens in the factory there will be jobs that come up that require installation as well.

Now in saying all of that we could be convinced by someone with the right basic skills, aptitude and attitude to undertake an adult apprenticeship or by someone that hasn’t quite finished their qualifications.

DETAILER/DESIGNER – Hobsonville – Auckland (Listed 28 April 2021)

Mastercraft Kitchens Hobsonville North West (Kitchen Story) is currently seeking an experienced Detailer/Designer to join their growing team.

You will need to be capable of the full range of duties including but not limited to, reading and scaling blueprints and cabinet layouts, measuring models and some production as needed, designing/detailing in CAD, multitasking several projects at the same time, checking other projects for mistakes, releasing jobs to the shop, making changes and corrections to existing jobs, etc.

  • Receive Kitchen Layout & Specifications from Designers
  • Conduct site visits for measurements or issue resolution as required
  • Detailing shopfitting and kitchen plan to manufacture-ready drawings
  • Sending plans through to CNC
  • Ordering materials, stock control, quality control
  • Work on multiple projects and ensure timely delivery of results
  • Schedule installation of Cabinetry through our network of staff and subcontractors

KITCHEN DESIGNERS & SALES CONSULTANTS (RETAIL & COMMERCIAL) – Botany – Auckland (Listed 18 May 2021)

Mastercraft Kitchens Botany (Jag Kitchens) are on the hunt for two new Designer/Sales Consultants, based at Botany Town Centre and East Tamaki.  One will assist in the management our Group Homes / Commercial Kitchen design and relationships, and the other will manage our retail customers, in the showroom at Jag head office in the Danske Møbler premises and our second showroom in East Tamaki.

Commercial Designer – Group Homes / Key Account Manager

  • With 3+ years of experience in a similar role, you’re qualified by experience or degree qualified, with an enviable track record in sales, ideally a mix of key account management and new business development (based off trust and relationships, not just door knocking), and have built a reputation for delivering on what you promise.
  • Ideally, you’ll join us from another Kitchen / Bathroom Design and Sales background, or you’ve been in the market as a Key Account Manager, building relationships, and growing sales, through your skills, knowledge and expertise.

Retail Kitchen Designer / Sales Consultant

  • This role would also suit someone with a background in Kitchen / Bathroom Design, with a passion for the entire process. Luckily enough, there’s little to no ‘cold-calling’ to do, however, if you’re not busy, then chasing leads and expanding your network to gain insights into what could be next up, will be key.  
  • You’ll be responsible for upselling across our range of products, from stone benchtops to our elegant range of cabinetry and kitchen solutions, you will listen to the customers budget and buying signals, and ensure they get exactly what they want.
