Mastercraft Kitchens Whangamata is currently seeking an experienced Senior Kitchen Designer with the ability to sell and communicate with customers. About the role:
Design and quote kitchens, following our end to end process
Listening and interpreting client briefs with a strong customer focus
Using Cabinet Vision and Pro100 for drawing and designing
Develop sales strategies and meet sales targets.
Skills & Experience:
Experience at working both independently and in a team environment
Proven previous kitchen designing background
Computer proficiency, with Cabinet Vision and Pro100 drawing experience required
Strong relationship building skills and the ability to have courageous conversations with customers
Strong sales background and the ability to manage time to achieve the sales targets
Qualification is preferred i.e. NKBA Certificate in Kitchen Design course, Certified Designer, Bachelor of Kitchen Design, Architecture
A friendly outgoing persona willing to assist clients in the showroom by providing product information and demonstrations where necessary
Follow up with clients at completion of work.
Additional details:
This is a very busy department so you will need to have the ability to remain cool under pressure and be able to think on your feet
This role is office based with the requirement to work outside of the office at times to meet with customers to undertake site measures (company vehicles are available to be used)

CABINET MAKER/JOINER – Whangamata (Listed 30 Nov 2020)

Role and Responsibilities:
Assemble kitchen cabinetry as per kitchen design while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
To select and work on materials as outlined in the job requirements.
Able to cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to customised designs/ measurements.
Ability to manufacture one-off customised cabinets.
Take appropriate care to ensure quality is maintained in all aspects of production.
Undertake any other jobs as directed by Factory Foreman.
Ensure all machinery maintenance procedures are followed in a timely manner.
Assist the Detailer with Cabinet Vision drawings as required

KITCHEN INSTALLER – Wairarapa (Listed Jan 12 2021)
Mastercraft Kitchens Wairarapa (Carroll’s Joinery) are looking for an experienced Kitchen Installer with a good past employment record to join our busy team to continue with our busy work load without compromising on our standard of finish. We mainly work on mid to high-end kitchen & scullery joinery, laundry and wardrobes. Most of our work is designed by our design team and all joinery is made in our factory with all the teams working together to create a great product for the Wairarapa and Wellington regions for the past 36 years.
Key attributes we’re looking for:
Attention to detail, high quality finish will be expected.
Ability to read and understand plans and details required.
Time keeping, must have understanding of time management.
Communication is a must, need to be able to communicate to clients and report to site manager with good detail.

KITCHEN DESIGNER/DETAILER – Wellington (Listed Feb 4 2021)
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced kitchen designer. We’re after someone with a passion and flair for design. The ability to listen to and provide our clients with a great experience is a must.
This role is looking after a mixture of our commercial clients. The work ranges from mid to high end kitchens and other joinery in new builds.
You’ll have ownership of your relationship with the client up until the point the design is finalised and sent to our production team. This includes; consultation, design, pricing, presenting and detailing your design for production. You will have access to a project manager for site measurements and post installation walkthroughs. Depending on the client the project manager may also take over at the detailing stage.
Training in our design package and processes will be provided.
About you:
Well presented, with great communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum 5 years kitchen design experience.
Detailing and CAD experience an advantage.
Winner, Microvellum, Pro 100 or similar design package experience a must.
A good knowledge of kitchen hardware, materials and construction techniques.
