SENIOR KITCHEN DESIGNER – Whangamata (Listed 30 Nov 2020)

Mastercraft Kitchens Whangamata is currently seeking an experienced Senior Kitchen Designer with the ability to sell and communicate with customers.
About the role:

  • Design and quote kitchens, following our end to end process
  • Listening and interpreting client briefs with a strong customer focus
  • Using Cabinet Vision and Pro100 for drawing and designing
  • Develop sales strategies and meet sales targets.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience at working both independently and in a team environment
  • Proven previous kitchen designing background
  • Computer proficiency, with Cabinet Vision and Pro100 drawing experience required
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to have courageous conversations with customers
  • Strong sales background and the ability to manage time to achieve the sales targets
  • Qualification is preferred i.e. NKBA Certificate in Kitchen Design course, Certified Designer, Bachelor of Kitchen Design, Architecture
  • A friendly outgoing persona willing to assist clients in the showroom by providing product information and demonstrations where necessary
  • Follow up with clients at completion of work.

Additional details:

  • This is a very busy department so you will need to have the ability to remain cool under pressure and be able to think on your feet
  • This role is office based with the requirement to work outside of the office at times to meet with customers to undertake site measures (company vehicles are available to be used)
  • This is a full-time role working Monday – Friday, with negotiable start and finish times!

CABINET MAKER/JOINER – Whangamata (Listed 30 Nov 2020)

If you have Joinery experience and an understanding of Cabinet Vision software, a positive attitude, great work ethic AND the ability to work as well at a desk as on the factory floor; This role could be for you.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble kitchen cabinetry as per kitchen design while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • To select and work on materials as outlined in the job requirements.
  • Able to cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to customised designs/ measurements.
  • Ability to manufacture one-off customised cabinets.
  • Take appropriate care to ensure quality is maintained in all aspects of production.
  • Undertake any other jobs as directed by Factory Foreman.
  • Ensure all machinery maintenance procedures are followed in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Detailer with Cabinet Vision drawings as required

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in the Kitchen Joinery or woodworking industry
  • Great communication skills
  • Be punctual

CABINET MAKER / SKILLED TRADESPERSON – Tauranga (Listed Dec 2 2020)

Mastercraft Kitchens Tauranga is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic skilled tradesperson to join our team.

We are a well-established company based in central Tauranga specialising in the design and manufacture of kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes and other bespoke cabinetry and joinery. With modern machinery, we produce high quality products for both residential and commercial customers.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced cabinet maker or carpenter, however a multi skilled handy person may be considered for the position. Along with excellent skills on the tools you will have high attention to detail, with an excellent standard of workmanship. You will be motivated, honest, reliable and enjoy working in a team.

KITCHEN INSTALLER – Wairarapa (Listed Jan 12 2021)

Mastercraft Kitchens Wairarapa (Carroll’s Joinery) are looking for an experienced Kitchen Installer with a good past employment record to join our busy team to continue with our busy work load without compromising on our standard of finish. We mainly work on mid to high-end kitchen & scullery joinery, laundry and wardrobes. Most of our work is designed by our design team and all joinery is made in our factory with all the teams working together to create a great product for the Wairarapa and Wellington regions for the past 36 years.

Key attributes we’re looking for:

  • Attention to detail, high quality finish will be expected.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and details required.
  • Time keeping, must have understanding of time management.
  • Communication is a must, need to be able to communicate to clients and report to site manager with good detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, some jobs might require early starts and later finish.
  • Attention to detail, planning and setting up the job to get the result needed.
  • Problem solve on the job, have an ability to get the job done.
  • Self motivation to support and drive the install teams.

Some tools will be provided but you will need to have the basic hand tools.

We are based in Masterton and work mostly in the Wairarapa and with some travel to Wellington. You will need a clean NZ drivers licence as company vehicles will be provided. Over time may be available.

KITCHEN DESIGNER/DETAILER – Wellington (Listed Feb 4 2021)

About the role:

  • We are seeking an experienced kitchen designer. We’re after someone with a passion and flair for design. The ability to listen to and provide our clients with a great experience is a must.
  • This role is looking after a mixture of our commercial clients. The work ranges from mid to high end kitchens and other joinery in new builds.
  • You’ll have ownership of your relationship with the client up until the point the design is finalised and sent to our production team. This includes; consultation, design, pricing, presenting and detailing your design for production. You will have access to a project manager for site measurements and post installation walkthroughs. Depending on the client the project manager may also take over at the detailing stage.
  • Training in our design package and processes will be provided.

About you:

  • Well presented, with great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 5 years kitchen design experience.
  • Detailing and CAD experience an advantage.
  • Winner, Microvellum, Pro 100 or similar design package experience a must.
  • A good knowledge of kitchen hardware, materials and construction techniques.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy essential.
  • Well organised.
  • Sense of humour a must.

KITCHEN JOINERY INSTALLER – Wellington (Listed Feb 4 2021)

Description

  • Do you have experience within the kitchen manufacturing/woodworking industry?

We do work that ranges from small studio kitchens to high spec domestic projects. You’ll be in charge on site, with support from our Operations and Projects Managers.

SENIOR KITCHEN DESIGNER – North Canterbury (listed 15 Feb 2021)

Mastercraft Kitchens North Canterbury (Millbrook Kitchens) are seeking a creative and experienced senior level designer to join our team. Our ideal employee will be extremely confident with their skill level and can demonstrate a special flair to their work. Thinking outside the box is essential, as is a strong desire to provide an excellent customer experience. This new role has been created to take over design work currently being done by the director and will suit someone with at least 7 years’ experience in kitchen or interior design who is comfortable to share knowledge and guide other designers in team meetings.
