KITCHEN DESIGNER – Taupo (Listed 15 July 2020)

We are seeking an exceptional, enthusiastic and ambitious Design Consultant to work with our clients from inspiration, to installation.

The applicant must have:

  • Experience in kitchen design / software
  • A passion for design to ensure it is functional as well as beautiful
  • Professional manner when dealing with colleagues and clients and able to work in a team environment.
  • Can develop a rapport with clients and maintain that relationship
  • Strong communication and comprehension skills
  • High standards with attention to detail
  • Training and development program available
  • A full NZ driver’s license

KITCHEN DESIGNER / JOINER / CABINETMAKER – Taupo (Listed 15 July 2020)

CABINET MAKER/JOINER – Whangamata (Listed 3 July 2020)

If you have Joinery experience and an understanding of Cabinet Vision software, a positive attitude, great work ethic AND the ability to work as well at a desk as on the factory floor; This role could be for you.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble kitchen cabinetry as per kitchen design while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
  • To select and work on materials as outlined in the job requirements.
  • Able to cut, shape and smooth lumber and other materials according to customised designs/ measurements.
  • Ability to manufacture one-off customised cabinets.
  • Take appropriate care to ensure quality is maintained in all aspects of production.
  • Undertake any other jobs as directed by Factory Foreman.
  • Ensure all machinery maintenance procedures are followed in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Detailer with Cabinet Vision drawings as required

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in the Kitchen Joinery or woodworking industry
  • Great communication skills
  • Be punctual
  • Attention to detail, are a quick learner
  • Cabinet Vision skills
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to take direction and work unsupervised
  • Problem solver and a team player.

South Island

JOINER / INSTALLER – Wanaka (listed 2o July 2020)

Mastercraft Kitchens Central Lakes cater to a broad range of the local kitchen and joinery market. Our discerning clients expect high quality joinery installations and quality customer service.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Installing joinery and being aware of and proactive about site safety requirements.
  • Manufacturing joinery whilst being aware of and proactive about work safe requirements to ensure everyone remains safe at work.
  • Project related work as assigned from time to time such as stairs and one-off joinery solutions. (Microvellum expertise will attract a premium when discussing rates of pay).

Skills:

  • Qualified Joiner – 4+ years as a qualified joiner
  • With exposure to all facets of joinery work including cabinetry, exterior joinery, stairs, installation.

KITCHEN DESIGN/DETAIL – MICROVELLUM (AutoCAD) – Wanaka (Listed 20th July 2020)

Mastercraft Kitchens Central Lakes cater to a broad range of the local kitchen and joinery market. Our discerning clients expect high quality joinery installations and quality customer service.

Position focus:

  • Detailing of complex kitchen CAD files for eventual machine code generation.
  • Entering designs, setting up projects, project specification groups and preparing for quotes
  • Taking revisions and entering them into existing designs, contacting clients for clarifications and further specifications
  • Designing one-off bespoke parametric cabinets for production
  • Site measures with Production Manager liaison in order to revise CAD design to production standards
  • Prepare one off replacement part cut files and run machinery to produce
  • Prepare Workshop drawings and Installation drawings off finalised design/specification
